Submission Guidelines

Submissions for ADHS 15 are now open. The submission deadline for regular papers, invited session proposals, and invited session papers is May 3, 2015. All submissions must be done (in pdf format) through the IFAC Conference Manuscript Management System website at http://ifac.papercept.net.

The final papers are due August 1, 2015. Each paper must be accompanied by a registration. In particular, each full registration allows for two papers to be uploaded while each student registration allows for one paper to be uploaded. Additional papers can be uploaded by a single registrant for an additional paper upload fee.

Regular papers: Regular papers can have a length of up to 8 pages at submission. Accepted papers are limited to 6 pages in the conference preprints and on-line proceedings at no extra charge; up to two extra pages are allowed for an additional charge.

Invited session proposals: Invited sessions consist of 4-6 papers related to a common theme that fits within the scope of ADHS. An invited session proposal should contain a short description of the common theme as well as the list of papers in the session and their abstracts.
The invited session organizer first has to submit the pdf file of the session proposal (without participating papers). The IFAC Conference Manuscript Management System then returns an acknowledgment that contains an alpha-numeric code for the proposed session.
Subsequently, the organizer has to notify the contributing authors of their invited session code. The corresponding author of each paper then submits the paper on-line as an invited paper.

Accepted papers are limited to 6 pages in the conference preprints and on-line proceedings at no extra charge; up to two extra pages are allowed for an additional charge. Submission as an invited session paper requires the invited session code, which can be obtained from the session organizer.

Support for Authors: Author's kits with style (.cls) files for LaTeX and templates (.dot) for MS-Word are available from the submission website. Go to http://ifac.papercept.net and select "Support" for these files and example files, or directly go to the support page. Please do not change the formatting in any way.

All publication material submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original and hence cannot be already published, nor can it be under review elsewhere. The authors take responsibility for the material that has been submitted. IFAC-sponsored conferences will abide by the highest standard of ethical behavior in the review process as explained on the Elsevier webpage (http://www.elsevier.com/journal-authors/author-rights-and-responsibilities), but see also the Vancouver protocol, and author information (http://labs.elsevier.com/blog/what-makes-an-author-authorship-contributorship-and-micro-attribution) and the authors will abide by the IFAC publication ethics guidelines (http://www.ifac-control.org/events/organizers-guide/PublicationEthicsGuidelines.pdf/view).
Accepted papers that have been presented at an IFAC meeting, will be published in the proceedings of the event using the open-access IFAC-PapersOnLine (http://www.ifac-papersonline.net/). To this end, the author(s) must confer the copyright to IFAC when they submit the final version of the paper through the paper submission process. See also http://www.ifac-papersonline.net/static/copyright.html for the personal permission rights to reproduce the published paper on a personal or institutional www-site.
